What awaits you
- You analyze processes at our logistics sites, identify areas for improvement, and develop concrete, economically sound measures based on your findings.
- You will initiate, manage, and take responsibility for improvement projects—often with a strong focus on technology, automation, and robotics.
- You will oversee projects from the initial potential analysis through concept development and pilot testing to a sustainable rollout.
- You contribute to the development of logistics concepts and offerings and apply your operational expertise to cost calculations and solution development.
- You advise new and existing customers and work with them to develop practical solutions for their logistics challenges.
- You actively engage with new technologies, evaluate their potential applications, and develop robust use cases based on them.
- You bring logistics, technology, and cost-effectiveness together and serve as the interface between locations, customers, startups, robot manufacturers, and technology providers.
- You define key performance indicators that can be used to effectively manage processes and projects, and ensure transparent tracking of results.
- You will guide change processes, build acceptance for new solutions, and support teams in their sustainable implementation.
- You report directly to the Head of Operational Excellence and help shape both operational improvements and the strategic development of our logistics and innovation projects.
What you should bring
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or industrial engineering—ideally with a focus on logistics—or a comparable qualification
- Experience in analyzing and optimizing logistics processes
- Experience leading improvement, implementation, or transformation projects
- In-depth knowledge of lean management and operational excellence, ideally in the automotive or production-related logistics sector
- Experience in project and change management
- An interest in robotics, automation, and new technologies—combined with the drive to put them into practice in real-world operations
- Entrepreneurial mindset, a clear focus on results, and strong execution skills
- The ability to clearly explain complex technical and logistical concepts
- A confident demeanor and clear, respectful communication—from the shop floor to senior management
- A passion for winning people over to change and establishing new ways of working together with them
- Willingness to travel for assignments at our locations as well as at customer and partner sites
