Full-time
What awaits you
- You will actively shape the further development of our services - from manual processes to hybrid solutions and highly automated systems.
- You will analyze automated material flow and logistics processes at our logistics locations and at our customers (e.g. conveyor technology, stacker cranes, AMR, robotics).
- You always keep an eye on the interface to production and the customer: Material supply to the lines, production logistics, internal transportation and B2B/B2C processes.
- You identify technical and process-related weak points in logistics and production, evaluate causes and derive specific optimization measures.
- You initiate and take responsibility for improvement projects with a clear focus on automation and technology - from the initial idea and concept (layout, material flow, automation solutions) to implementation and stabilization during ongoing operations.
- Together with the operational teams, you will design efficient, lean processes in warehousing, shipping, assembly and production areas (e.g. line delivery, supermarket concepts, tugger trains, Kanban).
- You develop, measure and report relevant technical and logistical key figures (e.g. availability, throughput, productivity, OEE) for sustainable optimization in logistics and production.
- You train employees in new processes and system functions and moderate workshops at store floor level.
- You report directly to the management and thus actively shape both the day-to-day business and the strategic direction of our logistics and production projects.
What you should bring
- Degree in mechatronics, automation technology, electrical engineering (specializing in automation), technical logistics or a comparable engineering degree.
- Several years of professional experience in the field of automated systems in intralogistics and/or production (e.g. conveyor technology, robotics, assembly and production lines).
- Solid understanding of logistics processes (incoming goods, storage, order picking, shipping) and ideally experience in production or assembly processes (e.g. line supply, material provision, cycle time).
- Experience in project and change management: you plan technical changes and process improvements in a structured manner, implement them and anchor them sustainably.
- Practical experience in the use of lean or OpEx methods (e.g. 5S, value stream mapping, CIP, SMED, store floor management) is desirable.
- Entrepreneurial, results-oriented and team-oriented personality with strong implementation skills and willingness to work across locations,
What we offer you
- Flexible working hours and the option of mobile working - so that work and private life can go hand in hand
- Attractive salary, 13th monthly salary, performance-related bonus and contributions to the company pension scheme
- Company car - also for private use
- Numerous additional benefits such as bike leasing, family service, elder care program, in-house sports program, further training opportunities and team and company events
- A committed, friendly team with flat hierarchies: We not only keep logistics running, but also work with you to develop new solutions for robotics, automation and smart logistics services
